Terms and Conditions

By creating a Spring account, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. Together, these form a binding agreement between you and Kindred Labs Pte Ltd (UEN: 202616321G) ("Spring", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Spring.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with any changes, you may delete your account before the effective date.

Our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies referenced in these Terms are incorporated by reference and form part of this agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Spring.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• you meet the minimum age requirement
• you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• you have not been previously banned from Spring
• you are not required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction
• your use of Spring will comply with all applicable laws

We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity at any time, and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately at support@spring.dating if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts is a violation of these Terms.

We authenticate users via phone number verification, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. We do not use password-based authentication.

Spring is a dating platform that uses artificial intelligence to help relationship-intent singles find compatible partners. Our services include:

• AI-powered personality assessment during onboarding
• A curated daily selection of compatible profiles
• Real-time messaging between mutual matches
• An AI companion for dating advice and conversation coaching
• Date Quest — a guided journey from first conversation to first date
• Photo verification for identity assurance
• Venue suggestions for date planning

Spring does not guarantee that you will find matches, dates, or a relationship. We provide a platform and tools — outcomes depend on you and the people you connect with.

Features may vary by subscription tier and may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Spring is currently available in Singapore and may expand to other markets.

Spring uses artificial intelligence for personality assessment, match compatibility scoring, and our AI companion feature. You acknowledge that:

• The AI companion is not a therapist, counsellor, medical professional, or substitute for professional advice of any kind
• AI-generated personality assessments and compatibility scores are probabilistic estimates, not guarantees of compatibility
• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
• The AI companion will redirect users expressing crisis or self-harm concerns to professional resources — it is not equipped to provide crisis support

The AI companion stores memories of your conversations to provide personalised responses. You can view, edit, or delete these memories at any time through Settings. You can also say "forget that" during a conversation for immediate deletion of specific information.

Your conversations with the AI companion are processed by third-party AI services as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your personal conversations to train AI models without your explicit, separate consent.

Spring may offer beta or experimental features from time to time. Beta features are provided without warranty and may be modified or discontinued without notice. Use of beta features is at your own risk.

Spring offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions provide access to additional features as described in the app.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise specified at purchase). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Payment is processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe, depending on your platform. The applicable app store or payment processor's terms also govern your purchase.

To cancel a subscription purchased through an app store, you must cancel through that app store's subscription management settings. Deleting the app or your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Refunds are governed by the applicable app store's refund policy. For subscriptions purchased directly through our platform, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal by contacting support@spring.dating, provided you have not substantially used the paid features during that period.

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period after the notice period.

Free trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends.

You agree to comply with our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Without limiting the Community Guidelines, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any person
• Create a fake profile, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity
• Post or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or promotes violence
• Solicit money, advertise products or services, or engage in commercial activity
• Solicit or facilitate sex work, escort services, or any form of sexual exploitation
• Share, request, or create any content involving minors in a sexual context
• Use Spring to stalk, harass, or harm anyone in the real world
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access Spring
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Spring
• Circumvent any security, moderation, or access-control features
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion.

You retain ownership of the content you create on Spring (photos, text, prompt responses, messages).

By posting content on Spring, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purposes of operating, providing, and improving Spring. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where: (a) the content has been shared with other users who have not deleted it; or (b) we are required to retain it for legal or safety purposes for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you post, and that your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

We may review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

We do not use your photos, messages, or profile content to train AI models without your explicit, separate consent. Your content is used for matching, moderation, and service operation only.

Spring, including its design, code, algorithms, trademarks, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Kindred Labs Pte Ltd or its licensors.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Spring for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on Spring or any part of it without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about Spring may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

Spring facilitates introductions between users. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

You acknowledge that meeting people through any platform — including Spring — carries inherent risks. You agree to take reasonable precautions when meeting someone in person, including meeting in public places, informing a trusted person of your plans, and arranging your own transportation.

Venue suggestions provided through Spring (via Google Maps integration) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement of any venue's safety or suitability.

Spring does not conduct criminal background checks on users and cannot guarantee the identity, character, or intentions of any user. A verified badge indicates that a user has completed our photo verification process — it does not constitute a safety endorsement.

Spring offers optional photo verification using a liveness check that captures facial geometry data to confirm that your profile photos are genuinely you.

By using photo verification, you consent to the collection and processing of your biometric data for this purpose. This data is used solely for verification and is deleted after the verification process is complete, as described in our Privacy Policy.

A verified badge is displayed on your profile to indicate completion of photo verification. It does not guarantee a user's identity, safety, or intentions.

Spring integrates with third-party services to provide its features, including authentication providers, payment processors, cloud hosting services, AI processing services, mapping services, and communication services. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their respective terms.

Spring may contain links to third-party websites or content. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for third-party websites or content.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party service. We are not liable for any issues caused by third-party services.

Your use of Spring is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data.

Spring is committed to compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") of Singapore. You have rights under the PDPA including the right to access and correct your personal data, and to withdraw consent for data processing.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

For severe violations (including but not limited to: threats of violence, content involving minors, confirmed fraud, or conduct endangering user safety), we may terminate your account immediately without prior warning.

For less severe violations, we will generally follow a graduated enforcement approach (warning, then temporary suspension, then permanent termination), though we are not obligated to do so.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion is subject to a 72-hour grace period during which you may reverse the deletion. After 72 hours, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, your licence to use Spring ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 17, and 18) will survive termination.

If your account is terminated for violations, you may not create a new account without our written permission.

Spring is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

• Spring will be available without interruption or error
• any matches or profiles will meet your expectations
• information provided by other users is accurate or truthful
• AI-generated content, assessments, or recommendations will be accurate or appropriate
• Spring will result in dates, relationships, or any particular outcome

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Kindred Labs Pte Ltd arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Spring shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) SGD 100.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, or emotional distress, arising out of your use of Spring, the conduct of other users (whether online or offline), or any content or interactions facilitated by Spring.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kindred Labs Pte Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• your use of Spring
• your content
• your violation of these Terms
• your interaction with any other user

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days from written notice of the dispute.

If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation, the parties agree to attempt mediation administered by the Singapore Mediation Centre before commencing any court proceedings.

Subject to the mediation requirement above, the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Any legal action must be brought on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding against Spring.
